Packing/Unpacking the crate

Locate the latches and the lock on both ends of the crate.

Pull the top latches down, the bottom latches across, and remove the locks. The code for both locks is 1902.

Locate the twist latches for the side flip-down panel (see photo) unlatch them, and lower the panel. This may take two people. This side panel allows you access to the cab of the car without having to remove it from the crate. This is helpful for charging the battery or retrieving the tire inflator in case the car arrives with low tire pressure.

Locate the ramps (x4) under the car and place them.  Snuggling them into the corner of the door frame ensures the tires fall in the correct place.  This will require opening the doors to a full 90 degrees.

Locate and remove the dollies from the rear of the crate.  Remove the wheel chocks and store them in the overhead basket.

Put the car in neutral and slowly roll it down the ramps. It is a tight fit, so turn the steering wheel through the side panel opening. You might even have to stop and lift the front end to adjust the departure angle from the crate. This takes a minimum of two people but preferably three for safety.
